Taken 24 August 2009 from Pittsburgh, PA (Pittsburgh International Airport) - PIT to New York, NY (John F. Kennedy International Airport) - JFK

I thought that JetBlue was a GREAT upgrade from Northwest. I don't normally fly, but when I do I normally go with Northwest.

The leather seat that I sat in on this particular plane was okay. Sure, it was an upgrade from the hard cloth of Northwest, but the back had no contours whatsoever. I was in row 11, and since row 12 is an exit row (Embraer 190), I had no recline.

The TV had nothing good on, except for Channel 13, which is mainly advertisements. However, about every two minutes, there will be a map showing where the plane is, the altitude, and the speed. It is not incredibly accurate, however, as we were not moving on the runway at PIT but it registered an altitude of 5 feet and a speed of 15 miles per hour.

The pilot said that he would turn off the main cabin lights after take-off but never did. He flew the plane very well, however, and apologized for the bumpy ascent.

The stewardess was a perfect 10! She was very kind and patient. I never saw her frown and she said "you're welcome" to any one who said "thank you".

The flight left a little early but took a little longer than expected, but we were still in New York a few minutes early.

Based on this flight alone, I would go with JetBlue when I fly again (probably a few years from now).
