Taken 11 September 2009 from Birmingham, England - BHX to Jersey - JER

Flybe's fast bag drop at Birmingham is the total opposite. Two desks open and then a 25 minute wait for the fast drop.

Called to the gate 20 minutes before the flight was ready to board, and waited in the airbridge, dark and claustrophobic.

Flight left on time, and was pleasant with good service. Aircraft, Q 400 clean and new.

At the interim stop in Guernsey we had a medical issue, and it took an age, firstly for a firefighter to come on board (in full gear) to look at the lady who had been taken ill. Then another 20/25 minutes before an ambulance arrived.

Eventually took off for the short hop to Jersey, with not a word of explanation from the crew. This resulted in a very late arrival at our destination. Not anyones fault, but communication very poor.
