Both the Glasgow flight and the Dubai flight were delayed by about 20 minutes. No reason was given for the Glasgow delay, but the Dubai flight was held because a connecting flight was late.

Service on both flights was extremely good, with the food being especially worthy of praise.

The on;y problem I have with this otherwise excellent airline is all their long flights go through Dubai, a shambles of an airport with totally inadequate seating and toilet facilities. It was particularly difficult to hear the PA system announcements.
