Home > British Midland > 2001 > ReviewTaken August 2001 from Leeds to EdinburghAs a weekly flyer on this route, using the deafening SAAB 340's, I looked forward to the arrival of the new Embraer. But on its suppposed arrival I was faced with the SAAB (no breakfast was served) as meals were loaded on the Embraer. I could have been informed of no meal at the BMI Business lounge in Leeds and I'd have taken breakfast there. So I arrived in Edinburgh for a full day's business starving and deafened. Leeds and Edinburgh, as 2 large financial centres, have an increasing business travelling community between the cities, that is only served by BMI. As most passengers are business class fares, surely they deserve a decent service in comfortable modern aircraft. If not, it will only be time before BMI face a lowcost airline that will deliver. | ||
