This was my second flight on JMC this year. The outbound flight from Newcastle to Rhodes was fine. The route taken provided a great view of Tyneside when taking off. The flight attendents were very pleasant and the seats were the usual cramped ones you find on a charter flight.

However, the return leg of my journey was not so smooth. Due to the navigation system going AWOL on another flight earlier in the day, our flight was delayed for 6 hours whilst a new aircraft was found. This meant that I had to spend the night at Rhodes airport, which was a cross between the black hole of Calcutta and Wembley on cup final day.

We were dropped off at the airport at 23 50 and were then told we had a 4 hour delay. This was after we had been kicked out of our rooms at 1200. I would have been much better if the tour operator had let us stay in our resort for another couple of hours instead of making the airport even more congested.

I must say however, that the flight attendants and the flight itself were very pleasant when the aircraft finally arrived.
