Home > Air Canada > 2001 > ReviewTaken April 2001 from Toronto Pearson to London HeathrowOn board a 747-400C. Delayed first at Toronto Pearson, due to a fault with the altimeter, a new one had to be flown in from Quebec. After take-off, we were served a reasonable dinner, luckily it tasted better than it looked. The seats on this flight were way too small in the way of leg room. Movie selection on-board was great, some of the things shown were not even out in England yet! The landing at Heathrow was extremely rough, like a Bucking Bronco ride, however this was due to a tyre exploding and deflating on touchdown. Outbound flight was much better. Try to travel mid-week, as the flight wont be as busy as a weekend flight, also the Airbus A330 aircraft have a lot more room on board, when compared to the 747-400/Cargo. | ||
