Taken August 2001 from Copenhagen to Toronto

Connected to an AC flight in CPH from an SAS flight (part of a Star Alliance codeshare deal) which started in Birmingham, UK. The flight to Toronto wasn't bad - the plane was roomy and the seats were surprisingly comfortable.

The food, however, was appalling, with no choice offered either. I realise I'm flying economy, but at least most airlines offer you some choice! I am now more used to in-seat screens, so a lack of personal TV's made the flight seem SO much longer. The cabin crew were nice, apologetic for the lack of choice in food and tried their best.

The return flight was a nightmare. I ended up being re-routed from Toronto to Glasgow, and then transferred to a BA domestic flight to Birmingham. This was because I would have missed my connection to SAS in Copenhagen. My luggage, however, was sent to Copenhagen and then turned up the next day in Birmingham. AC ground staff in the UK refused to help with my baggage problem, and BA eventually took over because it turns out they become responsible because I ended the journey with them.

This is despite being adamantly told by AC staff in Toronto who re-routed me that my baggage would somehow mysteriously make it Birmingham at the same time as me...

But, hey, at least there was a choice of meal on my return flight to Glasgow. How I wish SAS actually flew to Toronto themselves.
