Home > Monarch > 2001 > ReviewTaken October 2001 from London Gatwick to Holguin, Cuba via VaraderoNothing really to complain about on this flight. The aircraft was a new A330 Airbus which was very comfortable and quiet - better than a Boeing 767. Food was acceptable, and a choice offered, with free wine. Inflight entertainment was average - the films on the return flight were rather old, but it was an overnight flight, so most people were asleep anyway! Legroom was good for a charter flight, and the seat itself was very comfortable. Flight attendants were efficient rather than friendly. Given the distance travelled and the overall cost of the holiday, the value was exceptional. You get what you pay for - if you want more space and better service, fly scheduled - but it will cost a lot more! | ||
