Home > Aerocaribbean > ReviewTaken October 2001 from Holguin, Cuba to Havana, CubaDon't critise a British Charter (or any other airline for that matter!) until you've flown with this carrier! I flew this flight as part of a holiday excursion from my beach resort to the capital, Havana. The aircraft was a new looking ATR 42 300,and not a problem - however, the operation of it gave concern! Safety announcements were bearly audible or understandable. The seat belts were not checked - I saw two people who didn't wear one at all. It seemed as the front wheels of the aircraft left the runway, the aircraft banked and rolled to the right. The passengers on that side of the aircraft screamed and flinched as all we could see was the ground! - it then appeared to acclerate hard and then level off. The flight was noisy and bumpy due to the fact the aircraft was small and a prop. Inflight service was coke, water or black coffee - there was no milk on board! - offered by a rather scary lady. Our Tour Guide prayed as we started our decent into Havana! The cabin was extremely hot on the return flight, and upon landing we seemed to taxi along the runway at speed for a very long time. I enjoy flying, but these flights made me certain I will never fly with this airline or on a prop again! | ||
