Taken January 2001 from Las Vegas to San Francisco

Turned up 2 hours prior to the flight (as requested due to new security). Stood in the Domestic queue for 30 minutes only to be told that as we had international tickets, that we need to go to the International desk (for a domestic US flight!). This queue was too large for the space available at McCarron, so we were asked to queue outside for a further 20 minutes. We were then told to go inside and join the queue. When I got there the United staff asked me to go outside and would only let me join the queue when I rather aggresively pointed out that I had been at the front of the queue outside. After a further 15 minutes it was obvious that we going to miss the flight, luckily we were subsequently shuffled to the head of the queue.

Flight was OK, arrived on time, but the secondary generator for the air con had "blown" (according to the pilot), so it was a bit hot. Staff were surly.
