Home > Egyptair > ReviewTaken November 2001 from Sydney to SingaporeIncluding taxes, this fare from Sydney to Singapore return was $573 Australian dollars. It costs this much to fly from domestically from Sydney to Cairns! To Singapore on Singapore Airlines is normally $800 Australian. So I cannot complain too much. Both outward and return meals were the same: Breakfast was 1 bun, 2 crackers, a cup of orange juice, two cups of coffee or tea, a piece of cheese. Lunch was either chicken or lamb with 3 stringbeans and gravy, piece of cake, cup of: orange juice or apple juice or guava juice or water or coke, 1 bun, 1 slice of cheese, 1 very small green salad, salad dressing, 2 cups of coffee or tea. Getting into Singapore is at about 2am Singapore time. No transport runs and taxis are expensive, like everything else is in Singapore. So I slept on the chairs until the buses started at 6am. Getting back into Sydney in the morning was delayed by nearly 3 hours because of Sydney air traffic... 7:30am is the busiest time in Sydney to land and we were up there for 2 hours. Music was not very good. 3 stations of Arabic praying music, and 1 with rock and 1 with jazz. Movies were in English and quite recent. Very good value if you don't mind doing things "on the cheap" - remember, "You get what you pay for"! | ||
