Awful flight!!

Waited over eight hours between the first and second meal. Only once were we offered drinks on the 12 and a half hour flight and that was with the first meal!

Cabin crew disappeared behind a brown curtain for most of the flight and looked angry if they were disturbed.

The flight was fairly comfortable, although made worse by the stop in Cairo each way.

Finally the crew insecticided the cabin before we left Mombasa with fly spray and said it was due to government regulations (I took the same flight with Britannia 8 months later and no insecticide was used).

Overall a bad flight and I will never travel with Monarch again!
