Home > Air Canada > 2001 > ReviewTaken November 2001 from Toronto to London HeathrowPlane was a B767-200. Departure time 11.55pm - why do they serve a full dinner on a departure this late? All I (& most others I'm sure) wanted was for the lights to go out and get some sleep. They should just serve a drink and quick snack, then make the main meal a nice hot breakfast in the morning. Business class seats on AC's B767/747 planes are now looking tatty and in need of a re-vamp. On-time arrival into Heathrow. Return was on a B767-300. On-time departure and arrival - this was the 9.00am departure from Heathrow. Breakfast was fine. Ice cream and cookies were served mid-flight, and open sandwiches (totally bland, no condiments/mayo/seasoning) plus scones with clotted cream and jam served just before landing. I swear AC haven't changed the menu on this flight for at least 3 years and it has got a bit boring. Plus I detest scones with cream and jam. Suppose they think Canadians enjoy this quaint, very british snack. Movie selection on the personal TV's was awful. No big screen releases here, just obscure movies I'd never heard of. I suppose this is another cutback since 9/11 (airlines have to pay royalities every time they screen a movie inflight). | ||
