Home > Air Europa > ReviewTaken October 2001 from London Gatwick to MadridOverall I would say that Air Europa is a bad airline compared to Spanair. Air Europa wouldn't stand a chance if it was compared to Iberia! The flight was operated by an old 737-400 aircraft. There are no inflight entertainment systems, about 3 magazines for 180 people and uncomfortable seats. I don't know why, but 737-400 airplanes don't seem to handle turbulence very well. I experienced very bad turbulence for about 1 hour and 15 minutes of the 1 hour 45 minuite flight. The crew do speak quite a bit of English, but it's hard to understand them as they seem to talk quickly and mumble! The drinks are free and they offer a limited duty free service. I have flown Air Europa 6 times and the one thing which really annoys me about them is their food. On all of the flights I have been offered two little scabby cheese and raw ham sandwiches which are tasteless and disgusting. Air Europa really need to find a new catering company. Air Europa flights are also always delayed by at least 40 minutes. I don't know why that always happens. Not very good if you are making a connection! Overall I would say that I will never fly Air Europa again. | ||
