Home > Monarch > 2001 > ReviewTaken June 2001 from Edinburgh to Palma de MajorcaThe flight from Edinburgh was quite good, but head sets cost £1 to hire (we brought our own but they didn't work) so we never bothered with the TV on the way out. I was so impressed by the take off on the Airbus A320 G-OZBB (hoping for the DC-10) because we flew over the impressive Forth bridges that look are good scenery looking down on them. The flight back was delayed 5 hours because the SPANISH TRANSPORT STRIKE. We ended up getting back in EDINBURGH at 2:30am on G-OZBB after a re-route which added an hour to the flight. Good flights and meals. Hope to fly on Monarch again, maybe from Manchester on their DC-10.:) | ||
