Home > Air Transat > 2001 > ReviewTaken July 2001 from Montreal to Puerto PlataI took TS to Puerto Plata this summer and it was an OK flight. We left on time, crew were friendly but the food was bad. Coming back was scary. Our L1011-150 was taking off when it suddenly powered down and began slowing down...... we reached the end of the runway and the pilot came on and said "we seem to be having a problem with one of our engines, I will test it and get back to you". 5 minutes later he comes on and says "OK ladies and gentlemen, we will now taxi back onto the runway and take off"........ how scary is that? But the flight was smooth and crew were very friendly!! :) | ||
