Home > Air 2000 > 2002 > ReviewTaken January 2002 from London Gatwick to Goa DabolimI am 6ft6 so at check in I asked for an exit seat. I was promptly told that it would cost £25 for extra legroom... which was funny because on the plane we had a 5ft 3 girl sitting in the extra legroom place for free... because they were the only seats left! I think that 2 flights were merged into one because the layout of the plane changed and this caused a bit of hassle with seats being double booked. The legroom was good, but we were given bulkhead seats. There was a water machine on the left hand side of the plane so people were crossing in front of us, knocking us while we tried to sleep. That's OK if we were given the seats free, but not when we have paid extra for them! Once airborne the service was good, but a little slow......it was 3 hours before the drinks came round. The rest of the flight was OK though, but the seats were a little narrow which is a norm for aircraft seats in economy anyway. The flight back was brilliant. We were given extra legroom at no extra cost and the service was spot on... a lot better than going out. Drinks came round quickly and the air hostesses were a lot friendlier. I would recommend this airline on the return flight alone. The plane was a Boeing 767-300ER which was clean and quiet. | ||
