Home > Monarch > 2002 > ReviewTaken February 2002 from London Gatwick to Alicante, SpainA mainly charter airline which does a few scheduled routes. Have the cheek to charge 1GBP to watch their "entertainment" which comprises of old BBC repeats such as Dad's Army, Vicar of Dibley, etc. Also serve expensive drinks (bottle of water 1GBP, small bar of chocolate 0.95GBP). At Alicante they will not let you check in before 2 hours before take off, which is a pain if you want to relax in the lounge beforehand without your luggage. Seats are very cramped also. The A-300 600R I flew on was full to capacity. | ||
