Home > Monarch > 2002 > ReviewTaken March 2002 from Arrecife (Lanzarote) to London GatwickHaving had a pleasant flight with Monarch 7 days earlier, I was looking forward for my return journey. 3 check in desks opened exactly 2 hours before departure. Flight took off 45 minutes late as the inbound flight was delayed due to a near miss at Gatwick earlier that day. Flight had the same routine as the previous journey. Headsets and Chocolates, Drinks, Meal, Hot Towels, Game Cards, Duty Free. However - no time for the extra drinks service. The meal was chicken with peas, carrots and potatoes. Also available was a small salad, profiteroles, cheese and crackers, a small roll and a chocolate mint. Tea and coffee were also available. Entertainment from the above televisions was 4 episodes of Frasier, Alistar McGowan's Big Impression, The Vicar of Dibley and Father Ted. A small drama called Thin Ice was also shown. The flight landed at Gatwick only 10 minutes late. Overall it was a pleasant smooth flight onboard the MON2535 Airbus A321-200. The crew were smart and friendly, especially Steph who was very warm, kind, happy and answered everyone's questions and problems - what all cabin crew should be like! Having had 2 good flights with Monarch, I would fly with them again anytime and recommend them to everybody! - Monarch is the best!!!!!! | ||
