Taken August 2001 from Birmingham (BHX) to Orlando Sanford (SFB)

Like the other JMC BHX-SFB review on this site, I was on the Britannia 767 instead of the JMC DC-10 which usually operates. The flight operated from LGW (Gatwick) to BHX then onto Sanford.

The flight out was fine, the 767 seating is 2-4-2 so there are no annoying middle seats.

The entertainment was quite good, but the only TV to watch was either right above me or miles away at the front, but the films were very good, shown before they were released in the UK.

I had a great holiday in Orlando, but, also like the other review, I had the 8 hour delay due to the plane having technical difficulties in Gatwick. I was transferred to the Hilton Hotel in Orlando. This sounds okay but it is a conference hotel and we had no rooms and just sat around in the lobby and corridors for 8 hours. But at least we could use the gym and pool which is better than being stuck in the airport.

But I cannot fault JMC for their service and helpfulness during the delay.
