Taken May 2002 from Sydney to Melbourne

I was a little miffed when the male FA stood next to me for about 20 minutes while I was playing cards with my travelling companion (I lost the game!). The FA said they didn't have much to do as Virgin is a no-thrills carrier.

As a teacher in a country primary school I rely on budget air carriers to travel (my pay being what it is), and I don't get out much, but just because it's budget can't we dispense with all the Virgin hoop-la and 'light heartedness'? Also as I am a large frame the lack of seat pitch really locks me in.
