Taken April 2001 from Dublin to Las Palmas/Gran Canaria

We were due to board our aircraft at 18.30 and depart for Dublin. On arrival at Las Palmas, apart from the odd blinding from fellow DUB passengers about our delay, announced by the rotten reps from First Choice Holidays, another rotten service, cheap and disasterous airlines, Air Europa never kept us informed of our flight's movements. We were only told that it never left Dublin on the outbound flight so after about 5 hours darkness had set in over the bay of Las Palmas, we were given vouchers at the value of £5 for Burger King. The food was sickening, don't eat in Las Palmas's Burger King!!

Once it had landed at around 1.30 the next morning, we were anxious to get on, the reps were tired and wanted to go to bed, and we were worse. 4.30 hours left of hell on board! Anyway, they went to the staff room, to prise one of the airline reps up and make the call of boarding... very hard, it took 2 hours and the reps from F.C. had to keep us up dated! Not a word over the PA and at 3.30 we were given the boarding call. At last we were on way so we were all running in case the flight would again be delayed.

At last we landed back in Dublin, very tired, sunburned passengers. My advice, cancel your holiday if you are travelling Air Europa, and if they are reading this please email me with some answers!
