Taken December 2001 from Amsterdam Schipol to Washington Dulles

Upgraded to business class on the outbound leg. Quality of seats, food and service were very good.

Return in economy class was unpleasant. I am 5'10" (average height) and found the leg-room was inadequate. I also did not think very highly of the seat arrangement: 3-5-3.

Food was adequate and service generally mediocre. Too many people crammed into too small a space. It's not the remote risk of terrorism which puts me off flying, it's the high risk of cramped seats and high prices.
