Taken August 2002 from Kos to Manchester

I came back on flight SCY6932 from Kos on 7th August 2002. The flight was delayed by 7 hours, 320 people sat in Kos airport all day watching all the real airlines with modern aircraft take off on time - with NO information or compensation of any kind from Air Scandic. Then we took off and got the incredible explanation from the pilot that the fully loaded Airbus A300 could not take off because of the temperature. It had to wait on the tarmac until the evening cool. Don't they know that Greece gets quite warm in summer?

The explanation has to be either a blatant lie - or suggests that Air Scandic have to be operating at very close to safety limits on their old airplanes in terms of load.

I'll never get on one of their planes again - I'm a bit worried one is going to drop out of the sky.

It's interesting that Air Scandic are careful not to publish contacts on their in flight literature and, amazingly, state that "none of their cabin crew are allowed to give out any airline contact info".
