Home > Lufthansa > 2000 > ReviewTaken February 2000 from Madrid to FrankfurtThis airline lost our baggage on a non-stop flight. It did not make any effort to find it for the first 7 days. It was located at Madrid airport 7 days later and only after we made a 6 hr. trip to personally ask for them to search in the database (we had tried it 15 times before by telephone, but they were not helpful). We were assured our luggage would be delivered the next day (the 8th day after the flight). It has not been delivered because even though in the computer system our luggage was reported as found, they can not find it anymore in Madrid! If the Lufthansa people had searched better on the 1st or 2nd day after loss, the chances would have been greater that the suitcase would have still been found in Madrid. Lufthansa does not have a toll free number and every time we call they just tell us to wait and see what happens. No one was helpful enough to look for the luggage until the 7th day after it dissapeared. Until now I have no news of the luggage. Please take care of your luggage if you fly Lufthansa! | ||
