Return flight AMM 872 D.

Flight was departing 13:40 and was on time!!!

At 13:05 passengers were sheparded into busses at gate 14 and shipped out to the aircraft which turned out to be G-OOBA in 2000's new livery and a spanking new ship herself.

Overall flight was a big improvement over the outbound. Service was more like Air 2000's. We had cool narrow next generation TV screens, a fresh modern interior and a friendly crew, even got the chief pilot of the airline! The food was good as was the brew!

Had clear views all the way from 36,000 feet, up past Portugal, Bay Of Biscay, Brittany and got an excellent view of the south coast of England, also Cardiff, the Severn Bridges etc.

Into Manchester at 18:00 to disembark at gate 202 so we got some exercise as 202 is the furthest gate, don't actually know why we parked there when other stands were vacant.

Lets just say that my return was more what I expected and have experienced of Air 2000 in the past. It was the Air 2000 I know!
