Flew on a JMC 757-200 to Funchal, Madeira. The flight left exactly ontime and arrived 15 minutes early. The captain kept us well informed throughout the flight and the cabin crew were very friendly and helpful.

It seems to be a must when writing a charter airline review on this site to mention the seat pitch, so here goes. No - the seat pitch wasn't good and yes - we did feel quite cramped, but what do you expect exactly?! The way some people complain about it, they act like they're expecting a BA First seat. All charter airlines are very similar and if I was to be picky, then we sat in the rear row of the first compartment on the outbound flight and these seats seemed to have less room than others which are more centred in the cabin.

Anyway, seat pitch aside, it was a nice smooth flight with a well handled landing considering the tricky approach into Funchal. The food could have been better slightly more appetizing though.

One last thing, since I last flew JMC to Bodrum, 2 years ago, they seemed to have cut back on a few of the extra's, whether this is due to 11/09, I'm not sure. But on this flight, there were no menu cards or hot towels, nor any other minor things which we had received first time round. But ultimately these didn't affect the enjoyment of the flight.

Inbound flight was very similar.
