Taken July 2002 from London Gatwick (EGKK/LGW) to Kos (LGKO/KGS)

I think I must be one of the lucky ones. My JMC flight was the best charter flight I have ever been on.

I have flown every charter airline going and can find fault with all of them to some degree. However I would be hard pushed to fault JMC.

Everything ran like clockwork! Even with a temporarily broken baggage belt at Gatwick, they still rounded everyone up and queued them effectively (there were about 5 different JMC flights checking in at the same time), and checked us in as soon as possible. We were on the aircraft well before departure, and left only slightly late, due to our ATC slot at that early time of the morning (rush hour!). We still got there early!

On the return... they were just as good. Kos airport is a joke for size, and you have to queue outside in the sun at peak times, just to get into the terminal building! The JMC people kept us informed and even stood at check in, helping the airport staff process us quicker! We were due to takeoff at 2pm, and when at 1:45pm they announced boarding, we guessed that we'd be quite late - not so!! It was like a finely oiled machine. We were bussed to the aircraft quickly.....and before we knew it, the doors had closed and the engines were starting!! We moved off stand at just before 2pm.

The crews were friendly and polite. The food was lovely (as lovely as aircraft food can be!) and the service was efficient - no leaving your food trays in front of your nose for an hour after finishing (take note other charter airlines). Even the seats were different to other aircraft. I don't know what it was, but they didn't seem to have that metal pole that usually sticks in your back!!

Overall... a great start and end to a great holiday! I would definitely fly them again - I just hope I won't be disappointed next time!
