Home > Singapore > 2002 > ReviewTaken August 2002 from Singapore to MelbourneI am extremely disappointed. In spite of being a 5 star airline, I found the overall experience to have deteriorated since I last flew SQ a year ago. The in-flight service was above average, but far too robotic. In fact although being a caucasian I received better treatment then my Indian friend sitting next to me to whom the stewardess was quite rude for no apparent reason. I find such rascism to be quite offensive. But my biggest complaint is the legspace which was utterly appalling. The seats were so tight that when the person in front of me reclined their seat, my knee was grazed and actually bleeding. The cabin crew were helpful which is not surprising as I nearly felt like suing the airline. Food and in-flight entertainment were terrific as usual, but I am sorry I would rather be able to sit properly on a flight and not have rascist FA's. Overall, I think SQ along with BA and Virgin are the most overrated airlines. I will definitely fly Cathay, Malaysian and SAS which are far better in terms of flight seating and service. | ||
