After reading previous reviews of this airline we were convinced that we had made a mistake by booking our flight with them. To our pleasant surprise we did not encounter any problems with the outbound journey, it was on time and the plane was very comfortable (Finnair, Boeing 757). The only negative points to raise are:

We had a three hour delay on the return journey (caused by Greek air traffic control on a previous flight), however, there was plenty to do at Faro airport to pass the time.

We were given a snack of cheese/tomato sandwich & KitKat on the return flight instead of the usual 'meal'.

Our luggage had obviously been left out on a baggage truck during a downpour at Faro (awaiting stowage for the return flight)and the contents were absolutely drenched. We assume, however, that this was the responsibility of the baggage handlers, not the airline.

We had to wait over an hour for our luggage to appear on the carousel at Manchester (again, this appears to be a baggage handling issue as other airlines suffered similar delays).

In conclusion, the airline were competant, the service was good, staff were pleasant/polite, the aircraft was comfortable (more so than some others we've been on) and above all we felt safe.
