Few minutes late leaving, stop in Calgary (where a transplanted Brit gave us a potted history of the area and encouraged people to return, he must be working for the Chamber of Commerce). He brought on a huge box of TimBits (from Tim Horton's Donuts) but sadly they were for the cabin crew only. No major complaints, but my low-fat breakfast consisted of a rock-hard almost frozen apple and some juice. Arrival in Vancouver about 10 minutes late, not bad. Movies included "Bend it Like Beckham" along with the same Full Monty and Harry Potter I'd experienced in late June. | ||
