Taken August 2002 from Manchester to Kos

After reading various comments on this site, I was ready to go home and cancel my holiday (I am a very nervous flyer). However, my husband persuaded me not to take these comments too seriously and not to spoil our holiday. I am glad I listened to him, as, apart from the very limited legroom (and let's face it there isn't much on any airline) the flight was no different to any other flight I have been on before. The service was OK, the food normal (if you can call airline food normal). So what if the entertainment equipment is not as modern as on some flights - the movies were recent box office releases - but if you want a cheap holiday, that's what you get.

We were delayed 1 hour 50 minutes on the outbound flight, but were informed that we would be delayed and given the explanation why and the return flight was delayed by half an hour. Both flights were smooth and both landings the smoothest I have ever experienced.

I think anyone can experience a bad flight with any airline, and I felt the need to add this review as some people tend to scaremonger. I was almost convinced the plane was going to 'fall out of the sky' (another reviewers words - not mine) and was pleasantly surprised.

Please do not be put off flying Air Scandic. I will not be deterred again.
