Airbus A321 G-OOAH

This aircraft was not as new as the outbound aircraf and it showed. On boarding a lot of passengers were quite worried about the 'smoke' coming from the air vents which was only condensation from the air conditioning system.

We took off on time from runway 25 and climbed straight ahead before turning to the right. About 10 minutes into the flight at roughly 25000 feet the engine noise reduced and the aircraft began to descend which was quite worrying only 10 minutes after take off. I asked the chief steward what was going on and he told me in no uncertain terms that it was obvious! There were thunderstorms around and we were just avoiding them. He talked to me in such a patronising way as if I were a lower form of life and was just being a pain. The crew were the most unprofessional I have ever experienced. They rushed the inflight SERVICE (what a joke!) into about 1 1/2 hours so we had nothing to do for the remaining 2 1/2 hours! All they were interested in was having a nice chat amongst themselves and couldn't care less about the passengers. How they passed the cabin crew training course I don't know! The food they served was disgusting and totally inappropriate for 2:30 am. It was a hot smoked turkey and cheese wrap. It was the most congealed mess I've ever seen and was vile.

Anyway, we landed in Bristol on time to rain as usual. This return journey spoiled the end of our holiday a bit, but I would fly with Air 2000 again as I have had good experiences with them in the past. The crew were the only thing that spoiled it by being so patronising and regarding us passengers like cattle, totally forgetting it was us who pay their wages!!!
