Flown many times on Singapore and Cathay. And would have to say I was very suprised that I even enjoyed PAL even better. Food was excellent, seats were more comfortable than those of the previous two airlines mentioned and the crew were most attentive. My drink was always replenished without even asking and they seemed more personal.

I always enjoy flying with asian carriers, especially Singapore and Cathay, but when the days I requested were booked up by both I had to fly on PAL. Was reluctant at first but will have to admit I will choose them again. Heard PAL stands for plane always late but both flights departed on time and in fact they both arrived 20 minutes early.

Aircraft were new on both legs an A340 to Manila and 747-400 to LAX. Very clean and many amenities aboard. A personal overnight kit for even economy class.
