Taken January 2002 from Amsterdam to Mexico City

I was just badly impressed. I have never seen liters of coffee raining from the roof of a 747. There were more than 20 people affected who had to fly more than 10 hours with their clothes soaked in coffee. We were barely affected, but I did get wet and our seats were completely wet. Attendants did offer to change our seats, but in separate places (would you fly 13 hours without your partner?).

I was very concerned about security, as when the worst purring took effect, two TV monitors got A LOT of coffee and they were on. Purring stopped while on fly, but did returned when landing.

I would never fly them again, on top of the comfort I have serious security doubts. In general they have very old planes, and there are plenty of other options.

Airline never agreed to compensate and did reply to me with apologies.
