Taken October 2002 from San Francisco to Osaka Kansai

The flight from SFO-KIX was extremely uncomfortable. The seats hardly reclined at all, there was no legroom, or width to any of the seats. The flight was very crowded, every seat was filled.

I had to ask twice for a different pair of headphones, since they didn't work. The movies were terrible, I don't know anyone who would want to watch them.

The food was overcooked, and very small portions. Near the end of the 11 hour flight I felt very sick and had a throbbing headache.

On the return flight it was worse, I could not see the projection board of the movie, and the smaller, mounted, hanging TV, was just out of my vision, I had to crane my neck, and sit on two pillows, to see it. Near the end of the flight, my neck hurt so much, I could not even move it back into a regular position.

I will never fly United Airlines again, ANA, or Japan Airlines seem much more suited for the job.
