Taken December 2001 from London Heathrow to Mumbai, India

Flight was via Sheremetyevo, Moscow.

Moscow bound flight was delayed from Heathrow, and the whole airport looked grey and ghosty when we reached Moscow - especially since all the gates were locked, and there was no one to let us in.

Well, once in the airport, there are no Forex tills inside, and deli's wont take USD or GBPs. Big shops do accept GBP and USD, but any change would be in USD always.

Food token systems and food at the airport canteen reminded me of those Nation Cadet Core days - dull, boring and dull, dull and dull.

Flight from Moscow to Delhi was delayed by 4 hours, no wonder considering the fact that it was -29 degree celsius outside.

In flight entertainment was no-existent. Food was good though (it was labelled Air France). Aircraft, contrary to popular belief, wass solid, bright, clean and spacious.

Return flight - had no delays, but had loads of bad-behaving air-hostesses to kill the excitement of the trip.
