Home > GO > 2002 > ReviewTaken November 2002 from Alicante to London StanstedAfter a pleasant outbound flight, I was ready for my inbound flight. 1 check in desk opened 2 hours before our flight and another check in agent decided to join us 30 minutes later. The time flew by and we started boarding our GO668 flight to Stansted. Due to the merger with easyJet, the plane had the same GO interior but easyJet colours on the outside. The safety demonstration was done this time by the stewardess. After a speedy take off, we experienced a few bumps as we were climbing and these carried on for 95% of our journey. 15 minutes later, the crew came round with their snacks and I bought a still water and some chocolate chip cookies for £1.75. After about 20 minutes, the turbulence became quite severe and the crew had to stop selling hot drinks because everyone kept spilling their drinks. After about 5 minutes of VERY ROUGH turbulence, the flight seemed to calm down a bit. The crew then came round selling their items from their GO shop which included perfumes, aftershaves and GO branded souvenirs. The aircraft then made a smooth on time landing at Stansted. The crew on this flight were very chatty and friendly. I have travelled with a lot of the low-cost airlines and I don't think GO lives up to all its excellent reputation. In my book, Buzz is definitely the best UK low cost airline!!! | ||
