Home > El Al > ReviewTaken November 2002 from London Heathrow to Tel AvivAbsolutely shocking. I missed the BA earlier in the day, but was able to transfer to EL AL for their late evening flight. I wasn't expecting the same level of comfort as BA - but nothing prepared for what can only be descriped as the rudest experience of my life. Food wasn't served for over 2 hours (on an overnight flight only lasting 5 hours this is pointless!) and when it arrived there was only one option. The entertainment system on board the extremely old B747-200 was broken, and the two toilets serving business and first passengers were broken. The final insult - I asked for a glass of water, and was told 'you only had one 10 minutes ago, just wait!' The first cabin only had 3 passengers, and at the end of the day this was a full F class ticket costing over 3000USD for a 5 hour flight. The only plus point was the security - I felt the length of time and number of questions taken and asked are an excellent idea. Otherwise, sorry guys I wouldn't go near another EL AL aircraft even for a free ticket. | ||
