Home > United > 2002 > ReviewTaken December 2002 from Denver (DEN) to Vancouver (YVR)Smooth and good flight on this Airbus A320. We were seated in row 19, but moved up to row 10 (Economy Plus) due to empty seats. Crew were reasonably friendly, but VERY old and ugly. United needs younger and more attractive staff. Flight was on-time (left 5 mins. late, but arrived a few minutes early). As per my last post, my main complaint is the lack of food as we had no food offered during this flight (except for a bag of pretzels). Service from Seattle to Denver and return offers a meal, but Vancouver to Denver and return are longer flights and we received no meals. We did, however, get serveral rounds of drinks offered during the flight. My wife's seat recline did not work and the padding in my seat was minimal, so it was a bit uncomfortable. The leg room (economy plus and also in an emergency exit row) was superb though. Good value ($350) as it was cheaper than competitors like Alaska Airlines, Frontier, and America West. United is also the only direct service offered (code-shared with Air Canada) and allows me to get my Air Canada Aeroplan points (Star Alliance partner). | ||
