Home > Air Anatolia > ReviewTaken August 2001 from Dublin to AntalyaChecked in without a hitch (Servisair). Flight took off about 45 minutes late from Dublin, as apparently there was some delay in the arrival of the aircraft from Amsterdam, then it needed to be cleaned, re-fuelled, etc.. F/A's were neat, efficient and very friendly, however, the food was absolutely gruesome! Hard bread, a salad-type thing with really slimy cheese, and a heavily spiced bit of cold meat - I got the sense that even the F/A's themselves were a bit embarrassed by it - it was passed out almost appologetically! Drinks were served at least three times during the flight, which was nice. Flight was smooth, and quiet, in some class of large Airbus, (a bit dated on the interior, but very clean nonetheless) marred only by a rather rapid and steep descent into Antalya, which was a little scary. However, the aircraft had very comfortable seating, even though it was packed. Flight arrived only 10 minutes late - so kudos to the pilot for making up time. Pretty great value into Southern Turkey, all in all! | ||
