Home > EasyJet > 2002 > ReviewTaken December 2002 from Edinburgh to London LutonA short hop back home for Christmas (24th - 26th) with easyJet for just £65 booked quite late - about two weeks before departure. Would have preferred Stansted, but was a lot more expensive, and I'm a skint student! Got to Edinburgh airport about 2 1/2 hours before departure (had no say in this - got a lift!), had to wait a while for check-in to open then had the best part of two hours to kill. Edinburgh airport is pretty dull airside, can't get out, limited selection of shops and bars, but a good book made the time pass. Flight boarded promptly after inbound disembarkation, and the captain told us that we were actually pushing back before schedule. Young 737-700 was nice, although not that different to the -300 as far as the passenger is concerned, in my opinion. Cabin crew were excellent, very attentive and courteous, and paid very good attention to a lady requiring wheelchair assistance sat in front of me. An on-time arrival at Luton, spoilt slightly by the bus ride, left me impressed once again by easyJet. Knowing that they will start assigning seats next year (a Go policy they plan to keep), thus eliminating the need for a scram on busy flights, I can find little to fault about easyJet. | ||
