Home > Air Pacific > ReviewTaken December 2002 from Los Angeles, CA to Nadi, FijiI was a little worried about flying Air Pacific, because their fleet is so small and their 747s so old. However, I was pleased to see that their 747-200 seemed to be well-maintained, and that the interior was quite clean. Departure from Los Angeles (LAX) was delayed about 45 minutes, mostly because of the chaos in boarding the aircraft. The LAX international terminal's boarding lounges are simply too small to handle all the passengers on a loaded 747. My vegetarian dinner was some very tasty steamed vegetables. Vegetarian breakfast the next morning was more steamed vegetables. They were good, but I really don't think of spinach as a breakfast food. My traveling companion got the standard meal, which she said was pretty good for airline food. The flight attendants were always smiling and friendly. Two movies were shown in flight: The Bourne Identity and Men in Black II. Legroom was adequate, and the seats were comfortable enough that I managed to get a few hours sleep. Arrival in Nadi (NAN) was about 30 minutes behind schedule due to the late departure from LAX. | ||
