Flight late leaving,but this was only due to the late arrival of the inbound aircraft... in fact the aircaft was ready to depart 1 hour 20 minutes after arrival... pretty impressive for an aircraft the size of the A340.

Service was nothing to write home about, but the food was excellent. Seat back TVs are the norm these days and so no extra marks, although the film selection was good.

The main plus for me was the legroom. The seats were really comfortable, to the point where I slept for 8 of the 12 hours on the way home, which I have NEVER managed to do previously... and I have travelled long-haul A LOT.

In conclusion, definitely worth flying on for the seats alone, and the ambiance on board gets you in the mood if you're going on holiday (which we were), more so than on BA.
