However, inbound flight, Las Palmas to Manchester was a utter disgrace. Britannia pride themselves on being on-time, however they are taking this too far now. We (PAX=4) checked in about 3 hours before the flight time of 15.15. We went to do some shopping and arrived at the gate at 14.45 (half an hour early), only to find the plane GONE! It had managed to turn around within 25 minutes and off it went. It even took all our suitcases as Britannia thought we were on the flight! This does not say much about Britannia`s levels of security as we could have put anything in the suitcases and not bothered to get on the flight ourselves. We eventually got home on a JMC flight who were most pleased to take us. Britannia have decided as a gesture of goodwill to reund out tickets! WOW!!!! If you want my advice, travel with an airline who will appreciate your custom and also appreciate how much your life is worth, and not jeapordise security for an "on-time" award.
