Home > America West > ReviewTaken January 2003 from Minneapolis St Paul to PhoenixDue to the circumstances of flying one way at almost the last minute, I cannot really complain about the price I paid for the ticket. Got an exit row seat just behind a door on the Boeing 757. Not as comfortable as a window exit seat would have been because the area where the slide on the door is protruded out several inches into where I would normally stretch my legs. Aside from no meal, service was acceptable. There were two drink runs, the first of which I was able to keep an entire can of soda. There was a movie on the flight though I declined to pay for a headset; I tried to sleep (without much success). Estimated flying time was 2:50; actual was 2:43. We actually arrived early in Phoenix and had to sit on the tarmac for a short time until another plane vacated the gate we were assigned. I had plenty of time to make my connection. Would I fly America West again? If the price is right and they are going where I need to go the answer is yes... unless JetBlue is going to the same place. | ||
