We were "denied access" at Delhi in the early hours of the morning as the flight was overbooked. We were not late for checking in and we had, the day before, re-confirmed our return flights. The treatment we received at Delhi airport was very poor and we were then put on a flight to Dubai, and then onto Heathrow. We arrived at Heathrow nearly 10 hours late and have not received any compensation. Apparantly Air India are not required to pay any compensation as the boarding was denied in India. If we had been denied boarding in London we would have been able to claim compensation.
