Home > Air Botswana > ReviewTaken November 2002 from Johannesburg to GaberoneThe flight was delayed by about 20 minutes, but I will not mark down on that as it was my fault. The rude staff would not let me bring my very ill dog onto the plane with me, even if I kept him on my lap. Because I do not have very good eyesight, I required an FA to help me onto the plane. She seemed nice at first, until she pulled me up the stairs on the plane, resulting in me stubbing my toe (ouch). I finally found my way to my seat, no help from the FA, only to find my seatbelt was faulty. I asked if I could move to the seat next to me as it was empty, but was told to "stay where I was seated and to just hold the seatbelt in place whilst the seatbelt light was on. When the meals finally came I asked the FA to open my coke for me, only to have it spilt all down my front (lucky I didn't have rolo on my lap!). I tried to be polite about it, and asked what the meal was, to which the FA replied "lunch." Very rude indeed. It was a very hot day and awfully stuffy in the cabin, made worse by the fact that my fan didn't work for some reason - it just made a distressing grinding noise. Very strange indeed. When we finally got to Gaberone, I was very pleased to get off the plane, even if I was all but pushed down the stairs by the FA's who seemed to be hurrying to get everybody off. What a relieving feeling to get through customs and be met by my son Hank =) I recommend Air Botswana, just don't sit in seat 12B. | ||
