Home > Gulf Air > ReviewTaken February 2003 from Paris CDG to Bangkok via BahrainThe ticket was really cheap (500 Euro). The first flight left more or less on time from Paris. It was on a comfortable Airbus 330-200 equipped with PTVs. Flight attendants were not overfriendly but nevertheless correct, even on this full flight. I annoyed them for quite some drinks, but they remained very polite and professional. Quite OK flight really. By the time the connecting flight left (at 2AM, after about 3 hours of connecting time in a small but neat airport) I was so tired and still somewhat drunk, so I fell asleep right after sitting down and woke up 20 minutes before landing in Bangkok, 7 hours later. Plane was an Airbus 340-300. Legroom somewhat cramped this time as well. Flight attendants very multi-cultural and professional, as far as I can remember. Return flights were very similar. 1 hour delay on the Bahrain-Paris sector. All in all an OK experience. They got me where I wanted to go +/- in time, service was good, price was very economical. I would like to suggest working on staff happiness though... all of their crew members seemed to mind their own business most of the time - they didn't talk between them or show any team spirit, and looked quite unhappy working there. | ||
