Home > Aer Arann Express > ReviewTaken March 2003 from Dublin to KnockI booked this flight online, so when I got to the airport in Dublin I had to collect my ticket at the newly opened Customer Services desk. The staff were efficient - there was a very long queue which moved really quickly. As I had only carry on luggage I was also able to check in here. Dublin Airport was very busy - Bank Holiday weekend and the queue for security was really long, but again it moved quickly. Went straight to the boarding gate where the flight had commenced boarding. We were led to a bus as the aircraft was parked out on the ramp. The aircraft on this route was being operated on wet lease from Demin Air - it was a F50 instead of the normal ATR42. I like both these aircraft so I was happy enough. The flight attendant was Danish and was very friendly. I had a great chat with him as we taxied out to the runway. There were electrical problems with the start up but this on caused a minor delay. The flight was smooth and efficient, arriving only 5 minutes late into Knock due to the electrical problems in Dublin - no delays en route. Aer Arann are improving all the time - keep it up. | ||
